Understand exactly what each permission toggle does and how to build the perfect trust ladder for your agency team.

The Trust Ladder

Every staff member operates on a trust level determined by their permissions. The higher the trust, the more autonomy they have — the lower the trust, the more oversight from management is required.

Generates content only. All output goes to Manager Review for approval.

Here is every toggle available on the Edit Staff Member card and exactly what it controls on the Drafts page and across the system.

Toggle What It Unlocks
📝 Create Content Staff can use Quick Post to generate articles, videos, and social posts for assigned clients.
âœī¸ Edit Drafts Unlocks: âœī¸ Edit (text), 🔄 Regenerate Video, and âœ‚ī¸ Edit Video buttons on draft cards. Without this, staff can only view content — not modify it.
đŸ‘ī¸ Review Drafts Unlocks: đŸ‘ī¸ Review (preview), ❌ Reject, and â†Šī¸ Revert to Draft buttons. Staff can flag poor content and send it back — but cannot approve it.
📅 Schedule Posts Unlocks: 📅 Schedule, âšī¸ Cancel Schedule, and 📅 Reschedule buttons on approved drafts. Controls who can commit content to a publish date on the calendar.
🚀 Publish Directly The trust switch. Unlocks: ✅ Approve button. Content created by this staff member skips Manager Review entirely and goes straight to Pending Review where they can self-approve.
đŸ‘Ĩ Full Client Management Access the Clients page to view client profiles and configure their brand settings.
💰 Allocate Resources âš ī¸ Budget Impact. Change video minutes, article quotas, and vault storage for clients. Directly affects agency resource pools.
🤖 Manage Autopilot âš ī¸ Budget Impact. Configure autopilot schedules, AI personas, voice clones, and avatars. Heavy schedules consume significant resources.
🧑‍đŸ’ŧ Manage Staff Access the Staff page to invite, edit, or remove other staff members and change their permissions.
đŸ—‘ī¸ Delete Content Unlocks the đŸ—‘ī¸ Delete button on draft cards across all tabs. Without this, staff cannot permanently remove any content.
đŸ—’ī¸ Delete Notes Allows deletion of internal notes attached to client profiles and draft comments.
📎 Access Approvals Adds the Approval Queue link to the sidebar, giving the staff member visibility into the centralized approval pipeline.

🚀 "Publish Directly" — The Trust Switch

This is the single most important permission in the system. It is the dividing line between supervised and autonomous staff.

💡 Pro Tip: Start all new hires at Trust Level 1 (Create Only). As they prove their content quality, progressively unlock Edit → Review → Publish. This protects your clients' brands while training your team.

Trusted writers who can polish drafts and reject poor AI output, but cannot push anything live.

Experienced team members who handle the full content lifecycle independently.
